Introduction to the book announcements section. This section is not completely in English. It includes studies in English, French and German from various academic disciplines, bringing together insights from history, law, literary criticism and linguistics, medicine, neuroscience, political science, psychology, psychoanalysis, psychiatry, and sociology as well as novels, short stories and even poetry.
You will find complete issues of journals together with articles from academic and popular periodicals and the daily press on the topics of trauma, violence and genocide.

This chapter is the one which is the most subjective, representing in its main parts the interests of the newsletter’s editor. But here it also becomes apparent that, in terms of the work on traumatic traces, both thematic borders and the borders of the disciplinary access to diverse themes must be transcended.
Books and Articles are listed from 2000 onwards, since the book announcements in TRN-Newsletter 1 were published online in July 2000.
The list is not intended to be complete.

You will find a new section at the beginning of the book announcements. The first chapter is referring to the TRN-Newsletter’s focus "Traumatic History: Speaking the Void in Literature"
