ReCONCILIATION NeT
- The 16th of December is Reconciliation Day in South Africa, consequently it was the day chosen for the launch of the South African Truth and Reconciliation Commission in 1995. On the fourth anniversary of the birth of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission - and one year since the Truth and Reconciliation Commission made its historical report public – the Centre for the Study of Violence and Reconciliation has decided to launch ReCONCILIATION NeT.
ReCONCILIATION NeT is a new website that will focus on the generation of internet resources on the South African, as well as other reconciliation and transition processes. It will serve as a nodal point for international debate and networking on reconciliation, truth, healing and justice during political transitions.
